SHARING WHAT
I'VE LEARNED
I have been very lucky, to date, to work on a large number of team cases. A wealth of experience and learning, for me as a collaborative professional, has occurred as a result. As we grow in our knowledge about how to come together (as three different disciplines) and work together as team members in Texas, I am learning something new on a daily basis. The training that I offer is a result of a variety of experiences from the past few years. It is a way to offer to others what I have learned that works well, what has not worked well, and the aspects of this work that are still evolving. It is a way to challenge other collaborative professionals to step out of their comfort zone and learn more about working as a effective team member in the collaborative process. My collaborative case experience has been working in a one-coach model. I participate in collaborative cases as a Neutral Mental Health Professional, working with the couple during their transition. My trainings are focused on the skills learned as a neutral in this process. The team training and skills training for mental health professionals addresses the value of neutrality in the process and how to balance neutrality with advocacy. TRAININGS OFFERED:
